If you’ve ever fought to get a push-to-lock brake to bite hard enough—especially on solid tires—you already know the problem: you need a stronger lock, but you don’t want to need a death grip to use it.
New for 2026, our Push-to-Lock Lever Brakes are built to lock harder with less hand strength. The longer, hollow lever is lightweight, but the real upgrade is the internal mechanism that converts lever movement into more locking power at the tire. That means you can get a more secure lock while still keeping engagement and release smooth and easy.
What it’s made of (and why it matters)
- All-aluminum brake body with stainless steel hardware for corrosion resistance
- The only steel component is the leaf spring (and it’s a thicker, more robust spring than what we commonly see on other brakes)
- Machined construction for a clean, precise fit and consistent performance
Lighter than our traditional push-to-lock
Our traditional push-to-lock brakes weigh 300g per pair.
These come in at 266g per pair—about 12% lighter, without giving up strength.

Built by brake people
These are produced by the same experienced manufacturer behind:
- our new Micro-Adjust Reckless Scissor Brakes, and
- the original Eagle Scissor Brakes
So you’re not getting a “first try” brake—you’re getting a design coming from a shop that knows wheel locks.
Compatibility / limitations (read this)
- Not reverse-mount compatible in its standard form
Bottom line
If you want a push-to-lock brake that’s lighter, easier on your hands, and can clamp down harder when you need it, this 2026 lever brake is the move—especially for setups where other locks struggle to hold.
